Welcome
Hello and welcome to my website, I’m a guitar player and a music educator from Hillsborough, New Jersey. I also play (to various degrees) the piano, the drums and the trumpet in addition to composing music of various styles. My relationship with music is the result of combining a deep appreciation of various styles with an eclectic taste that leads me from the passion of John Coltrane to the simplicity of Erik Satie to the power of Black Sabbath. As a result, I've had opportunities to write music for and play in everything from punk bands to pit orchestras, classical duos to big bands.
I've been teaching for approximately thirty years now and currently I teach privately (online lessons now available) in the central New Jersey area and through Raritan Valley and Middlesex County Colleges. I teach a variety of music courses, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary, as well as offer private instruction in guitar performance. I'm also an avid home recorder of acoustic and computer-based music, I try to record as much as possible, so I'll be posting some of my favorite works alongside some original compositions and music from whatever project/band I have my hands in at the time.
